I finally painted my very first reaper Bones mini at the Reaper Paint and Take at PaizoCon and had a blast!
Unfortunately that means I know want some paints amd minins and brushes and ...
Ahem ... anyone know if Reaper is planning another of their awesome Bones kickstarters?
They are. They announced there would be a Bones IV at a Con some months back... but thankfully haven't been pushing too hard on it till they completed the current one... which they are in the process of shipping RIGHT now. They are on wave 3 of at 10 I believe. In fact, my 20lb box of minis arrived yesterday and I'm still doing inventory.
I would expect them to start mentioning it again in about a month or two tops...
However one of them that they DID tease was a Baba Yaga chicken hut that looks REALLY fun to paint... ^_^

I've been able to get in on all three of the Bones kickstarters so far and there is some great pieces.
Personally I love the big ones; The Skeletal Dragon and Cthulhu from the first one, the Giant Kaiju from the 2nd are some of my favorites.
The Skeletal Dragon in particular is nice. The manufacturers in China misread the instructions on that one and it ended up being 50% larger than it was supposed to be.
and Mouselings....for some reason I love Mouselings

Sounds like we had the same shopping list. Those are 3 of my favorites. Except mouslings.... not really my thing, but now that I have 4 year old niece I'm thinking about picking some up.

Yeah... I considered them, but with the $500 or so that I already dumped on it, I had to draw the line SOMEWHERE!! Still considering going back and getting the few things I had to pass up though...
This stuff is addicting!!!

Yeah, seems to be a very sensible core box. A dragon to get in the dragon completionists, as well as a nice piece. A few smaller kobolds/goblins which are always useful & cheap & gets the number of pieces up. Whilst there's also a few interesting other ones, like the cart pulled by a pig.
I wonder if they'll be more Pathfinder pieces, since most of the iconics are done.

The core set has a good number of potential PC or NPC characters included as well as some low level enemies. Problem is I have tons of those already from Bones I-II-III. ITs a great value for folks who are just getting into bones now though.
The "high rollers" are really neat but its too novelty I think for me to drop 12 bucks on.
Chronoscope part I looks great. Part II not so much but im still interested I need me some sci-fi minis.

I've just recently gotten into Bones painting, so I'm definitely in for the Core set at least!
Definitely NOT interested in the cutesy stuff like the High Rollers or Rocky the Red though.
I think those Chronoscope minis will be very popular with folks who will be playing Starfinder. In fact, it would be cool if Paizo and Reaper got together to do the Starfinder iconics for this Kickstarter. Heck, I would not be at all surprised if that was one of the higher goals
I'm hoping there will be a few sharks in there at some point, as well as some sahuagin!

I'm hoping for a Mimic stretch goal at some point.
Mimic Chest, Door, Gazebo, Piano, etc...
If they don't wind up having any mimics, I'd recommend checking out Forge Prints - they recently wrapped up delivery on a mimic-themed Kickstarter. They have smaller sets available as well.
I'm in for the core for Reaper, though like Marc I'll be skipping the cutesy stuff as well. Usually wait for the last few days before calculating the add-ons to pledge bump.

I love the 'cutesy' minis. I love rockey the red

I specifically set aside a few hundred buck for this a month or two back so I went all in on day one.
At present I've pledged enough to get everything they have up so far. Probably won't have to start making hard choices for another week or so.

Typically I hate the cutesy things, but there is something kind of awesome about those Rockys.

I'm going to be watching for this...hopeffully we get some nice sci-fi terrain options down the road. I jumped in pretty big on the first Reaper KS (still painting those), but not much since then.

Nah, I think after the initial rush of people jumping on board during the first couple days, we will see a steady but much slower burn for most of the remaining campaign now.
It will pick up again of course (I'm betting quite a bit) during the final few days as the big final rush hits.
Reaper has indicated they have a few surprises planned during the middle to increase excitement though ...

But, but, but... It's a widdle, ittle, bittle tiny red dragon with a tiny hoard.. Ready to lull some unsuspecting adventurer/party into meeting mama......

Not going to be able to jump in with both feet like with the others, but I've got $1 in to keep my options open. I'll probably get ~$50 in add-ons if finances allow.
There's some good looking stuff in there already, but I'm not suuuuper jazzed about getting the whole core set.
As long as you've got that $1 in there and supported the kickstarter, they have said they'll be leaving the pledge manager open till next july for people who want to add on and pick up extras. Anything added after Sept. 1st or 2nd doesn't help unlock any new stretch goals... but you can still fill up on whatever you want as time goes by.
