Acquiring an additional Trait via a Magic Item?

Advice

Hey Folks,

Beyond the customary 2 beginning traits & possible 3rd trait (paid for via the acquiring or a Drawback) ... is there a Paizo-published or reputable 3PP method to acquire yet *another* trait via Magic Item or Spell?

I'd especially like to acquire a Trait via a magic item.

While it's possible to collaborate with a DM to craft a Wondrous Item that does this, I don't have that luxury in my current gaming group.

Thank you!

There is the additional traits feat that will give you two more traits. Not that while you can have many traits, you are still limited to one trait per category.

Traits are made to reflect backgrounds. Likely best to not reduce them to base mechanical boosts then.

As to my knowledge no, however, to answer you

Well, you could cast paragon surge to get an extra feat and grab the feat extra traits.

Since this is obviously for a home game, I would recommend asking your DM for an item like this:

Amulet of Stolen Heritage
Price 8,000 gp; Aura moderate transmutation; CL 9th; Weight —
This silver amulet contains the blood of a specific creature sealed inside at construction. This amulet grants its bearer one trait that the creature had in life. Character's are still limited to one trait of each type. If the character already had a trait of the same type as the trait granted then the amulet gives them no benifit.
CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS

Cost 4,000 gp
Craft Wondrous Item, Polymorph

Im loosely basing it conceptually off of this

If you post which traits you are interested in, it may be possible to find items or spells that replicate one or more of them.

Pretty much any solution requires the feat. Any spell/item that'll let you snag a feat fits the bill though I can't think of an item like that offhand.

Thank you all for your input!

I especially love that custom Wondrous Item, MichaelCullen. I think I can work with my DM on introducing such a thing .... with a good bit of collaboratively-created storyline fluff.

Thanks!
If the DM wants to know, I based the price off of This Ioun Stone. It grants the endurance feat in a slotless item for 10,000. The endurance feat is a pretty darn weak feat as feats go. So the base price for a slotted weak feat is 5,000 (half of a slotless).

Some traits are stronger than the feat Endurance, so I priced the slotted item that grants a trait, as slightly more expensive than the base price for a weak feat.
