There is the Scurrying Swarmer feat that allows you to swarm with an ally, but only you gain the benefits of the swarm, not the ally (unless they are also ratfolk).

I'm aware of Scurrying Swarmer, but it's a bit saddening to know that there isn't a direct way to bestow the benefits of swarming to non-rat allies. Maybe a small quest for my clan and the party joins the family, giving them a set of trinkets, or training, that lets them benefit from the swarming trait as long as they're sharing a space with a ratfolk. An earned "Welcome to the Family" trait for non-ratfolk, that allows them to benefit from swarming when sharing a space with ratfolk.

There needs to be more ratfolk stuff. I actually created a lineage background for my ratfolk that was inspired by Terry Pratchett's discworld. A clutch of rats found a home in the back of an alchemy shop in Nex, where the alchemists happened to pour our their alchemical waste, which turned the clutch of rats into what we now know as Ratfolk of Nex.

It usually should be limited to just a single rat, and some turtles.
