The pattern for Starfinder articles on the Paizo Blog seems to suggest a 3 to 4 -day schedule. The pattern has been that only two of those articles took up to 4 days and the rest were 3 days apart (at least, in regards to the iconic and class preview articles - I haven't looked at the time difference between the articles before these most recent ones). If this continues to hold true, then that would mean we will most likely be getting a class preview today - probably the mystic. If not today, then I would be inclined to believe that we would see it no later than tomorrow.

Of course, they could always decide they want to mix things up and give us an article on another aspect of Starfinder and do something completely different; like an article on equipment, deities, themes, or something else entirely that we haven't thought of. I mean the Dead Suns post was on April 27 and the Starship Combat article was on April 19, so... anything could happen; however, I believe that we are getting a shorter duration between articles lately because we are getting closer to release and they want to build up more hype for advertising.

I might have missed it but what new information did we get. The base attack progression stuff, no CMB, but there are maneuvers. And some progression stuff/base attack. We also learned that irrative attacks will be simpler in James Sutter interview. Learned more about themes. Also that stamina and hit points were developed to help deal with 10 minute adventure day. Stamina comes back much faster and hit points take longer to heal.
I think the class preview for the Soldier will give me some insight into damage scaling. I still think it is a combination of class abilities, proficiencies/specialization and feats. If they give the soldier trick shots or something like that that could contribute to damage scaling.

Oh hey you, whats up? :) So yeah, about these iterative attacks... could you maybe help explain how they are different from Pathfinder?

My guess is that will be a separate preview. I could be wrong. They could preview that and maybe how damage scales.
I have began to notice that when there is not quick answer to a question or something like base attack progression was not shown with the class preview I thought it might be different.
The only one I am on the fence about is there an effect when you first take hit point damage other than slower healing. I had even mentioned Owen K Stephens name and the wound level system in Saga Star Wars and no answer. I would have thought if there was not a simple answer is no there is no effect. To be honest it is not hard thing to add. For example when you first take hit point damage you suffer from bleed condition until healed.

I hope we get class preview. I know there are allot of people interested in Iconics, but they really do not impact the game play for my group. So I never really pay any attention to them.
However, F. Wesley Schneider's departure would be hugely disruptive, so Paizo should be forgiven if they can't get a posting up today.

Yeah, they are probably having a farewell party for him. Also, this close to PaizoCon there are probably event and organizational issues to be taken care of, too. You know, fires in need of putting out...

You literally posted that during a farewell party for Wes. Are you spying on us? ;)

No, but I slept at a Holiday Inn last night.
Okay, not really...

I am entirely qualified to do so, so to answer your question: Yes. I could do that.

So I am guessing that iterative attacks would be a preview or hey August is not that far off.
Little puzzled by the hit point damage and effect thing. I was leaning toward that there are no additional effects. I would have thought that a simple no there are no additional effects for hit point loss would have been indicated. Hey once again August not that far off.
