I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere (and would appreciate being pointed in the right direction). I haven't figure out how to best describe it in terms of the rules.
I'm running a game using Pathfinder and the full body of D&D 3rd edition. I have a player who is interested in slamming the ground with his weapon and creating a shockwave, lines of energy, or what have you that strikes several enemies at once. It's a common attack in many anime and super hero comics. The attack doesn't have to be always available (1-3/day is quite fine). Can this be accomplished in any way that doesn't have to be house ruled?

The Foehammer Fighter Archetype for Dwarves.
At 13th level, as a full-round action, a foehammer may strike the ground with his hammer. If the attack deals more damage than the floor's hardness, the space he occupies and all adjacent squares become difficult terrain. Creatures in those squares, except for the foehammer, are knocked prone (DC 15 Reflex negates). This ability replaces weapon training 3.

Thanks, y'all! I likes it! I think the player wants the attack to do hit point damage, but I think I can sell him on how nice knocking things over is.
If he wants to throw in some damage, he could always take Vicious Stomp. Then, if they fall prone next to him, he gets to stomp on a few of them as an Attack of Opportunity.
