One of my players cast a spell from a scroll that is normally dismissable. Is he able to dismiss it himself whenever he chooses, or is that not possible since the scroll's creator was the source of the spell?


Thanks, y'all! I likes it! I think the player wants the attack to do hit point damage, but I think I can sell him on how nice knocking things over is.


I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere (and would appreciate being pointed in the right direction). I haven't figure out how to best describe it in terms of the rules.

I'm running a game using Pathfinder and the full body of D&D 3rd edition. I have a player who is interested in slamming the ground with his weapon and creating a shockwave, lines of energy, or what have you that strikes several enemies at once. It's a common attack in many anime and super hero comics. The attack doesn't have to be always available (1-3/day is quite fine). Can this be accomplished in any way that doesn't have to be house ruled?
