I'm making a hunter (divine) build where I almost act like a pokemon trainer, and have a small cat animal companion do all the work, while I stand back with some kind of range weapon. The small cat would use agile maneuvers, weapon of finesse, and eventually an agile amulet of the mighty fist to have a dex to hit dmg and cmb bight attack with trip. I would leave it small, and it would get dexterity from many different sources becoming almost like a tank for our party. I was thinking of taking the evolved companion feet on my character, or maybe even the spirits gift feet, because I want the animal companion to be the focal point of the build. My character also would take advantage of the spell sharing aspect hunters get, to cast buffs on the companion from a far (such as cats grace).
Does any one have any suggestions for any feats/archetypes/classes/items/spells I might have missed?
Keep in mind Divine hunter gets rid of the teamwork feat aspect of the class, but if some one can demonstrate how teamwork feats could absolutely outclass the idea I came up with, I'm open to them. Also does any one have any suggestions for what my point buy should look like? I was thinking having wis, dex, and cha be my primary stats. Finally, I'm primarily looking for a way for my companion to get better HD, and BAB, because not having full HD and BAB sucks.
Thanks for any help.

You don't need much cha, handle animal is a class skill and your get +4 to checks with your cute lil kitty.
Spirits gift takes a standard action and lasts minutes per level, it is basicly a free spell slot for a butt, of 2nd or 3rd level power. Could be worth it.
Teamwork feats are meh for ranged combat.

I think there are a few rare ways to increase animal companions above your HD, and basically the only ones i know of are to have your animal be a horse and aasimar nature oracles.
There are some ranged feats, but I rarely remember them.
Hi, can yo expand on the aasimar natures oracle thing? I'm doing some research, but can't find what you mean by that. How do the mechanics interact?

So Aasimar have a favored class option which is:
Add +⅙ to the oracle’s level for the purpose of determining the effects of one revelation.Nature and Lunar mystery oracles have an animal companion revelation. So at 6th level you get an effective druid level of 7.
Cobbling together from other googling, might also consider:
Spirit's Gift, Evolved Companion Improved share spells, Stalker's Focus, Outflank, Paired Opportunist, Celestial Servant (aasimar)
You can go human, take the feat that makes you count as another race, take the eye for talent trait, and have a horse smarter than you to boot, and further unlock:

Sorry to kind of hijack this thread, but I didn't want to create a new thread for this while this one was here. Anyways, would it be better to get a wolf companion, or a dog companion and the Huntmaster feat. Keep in mind the feat used for the dog could have been Evolved Companion for the wolf instead.
