Updating the credit card expiration date don't work

My CC expired at the end of April. I tried to update the expiration date a few times, but it has never "taken".
Now I have replaced the payment method and it work. Maybe you should check if there is something not working in the "update expiration date" command.

Another thing, I am surprised that I haven't seen a mail informing me that my payment method for the Paizo books has expired. While updating the CC information for the different providers it is easy to miss someone. A warning would be nice.

Hi Diego,

Based on the current set up, I don't think it is possible to just update the expiration date. As far as I know, it has to actually be added as a new card, even if just the expiration has changed.

It looks like it has saved now that you have added it as a new card.

If you had't already updated it, you would have gotten an email about the card being expired when we tried to generate your May order.

Thanks, what I find strange is that I was offered the possibility to update.

When I was in my page, there was a red, clickable field with the world update your expiration date (or some such) that opened a window where I was able to change the date and save. Simply the change wasn't registered.

Maybe you should remove that part of the code, as it will generate incomprehension by the user.
My reaction after trying the first time was to think "maybe there is some connection trouble and I am timing out on the change timer, or the system think my connection isn't secure, so it refuse the change. I will try another day." I decided to change the CC data only the third time that I logged to try to update.

Correct; the UI has provision for changing the credit card expiry date. It didn't work. I tried multiple browsers. Not sure if it's universally broken or there's something common in our two accounts, but there it is.

Also... this didn't move to web site feedback. <Grin>
