So I know that ordinarily, Pathfinder classes are stronger than 3.5, so while you can't go back, you can usually go forwards. While searching for a viable... drain tank class? I found this
Dark Knight
Does this seem... broken or acceptable?

Darkness seems a bit powerful for a no-save area of effect nuke. Presuming the character pumps his constitution properly, 24 constitution doesn't seem too unlikely by the 8th level (start with 18, +2 from level-up, +4 from belt) which would give 56 damage per blast. It should probably have a save for half.
Absorb scales a little weirdly, and also looks like it's prone to abuse given that it's a form of at-will healing. In terms of its in-combat effect it looks reasonable, but I'm more worried about possible out of combat abuses to get limitless healing.
Doom likes like it swings between useless and broken with little in between. This ability could easily deal 800+ points of damage when you get it at the 13th level. A save for half is a bit of a joke at that point. However, with a 2d6+3 round delay on the effect and requiring you to sacrifice at minimum half your HP total it's pretty much useless in a typical combat encounter.
Death Pact looks abusable, but it's a high enough level ability that dropping you to -10 shouldn't be the only way your opponents have to kill you so it should be fine. Charon is very strong for an at-will ability, but again it comes so late that I'm less worried about it than the other things here.

I'd also suggest checking out the (FREE) Vindicator 3pp class, it's also inspired by the Final Fantasy Dark Knight.

This applies for base classes (usually), but PrC were their own special beast. They were all over the place. This was before companies started using unified design teams to try and keep things from getting too much power creep.
