Trying to wrap my head around something regarding overlap.
Water Sight (Su): You can see through fog and mist without penalty as long as there is enough light to allow you to see normally.
Gaze of Flames (Su): You can see through fire, fog, and smoke without penalty as long as the light is sufficient to allow you to see normally.
Emphasis mine. Gaze of Flames seeing through fire? Simple enough. Smoke? Simple enough. Fog?
Fog's defined as "Fog consists of visible cloud water droplets or ice crystals suspended in the air at or near the Earth's surface." That seems like what Water Sight would see through. Which it does. So do both see through the same fog? Or is there some kind of "fire fog" that I'm not aware of?
And what's the difference between fog and mist in Pathfinder? Even Obscuring Mist says:
"A moderate wind (11+ mph), such as from a gust of wind spell, disperses the fog in 4 rounds. A strong wind (21+ mph) disperses the fog in 1 round. A fireball, flame strike, or similar spell burns away the fog in the explosive or fiery spell's area. A wall of fire burns away the fog in the area into which it deals damage."
Again, emphasis mine.
