Half-orc Kineticist with Pain Tolerance.....loophole?

The racial trait Pain Tolerance grants a half-orc DR 1/- towards non-lethal damage. How would that interact with a Kineticist and Burn?

You can't reduce the nonlethal damage you take from burn, so DR doesn't help you against it.

Thank you guys for the swift replies. I'm AFB at the moment, and the idea kind of hit me whilst browsing Archives.

Pretty much anything you try to get around burn is going to be shut down by the description of burn. Even things that let you operate normally while you're suffering from nonlethal damage, such as flagellant stops working with burn.
