Can a Succubus-Spawn Tiefling be a male?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I know that all the offspring from a succubus is female (usually half-succubi or alu-demons), but what about a Tiefling who has born some generations after that coupling?

I think that there are not rules about it, so what do you think? Could it be?

There are no rules prohibiting a male tiefling from being descended from s Succubus.
Although I imagine it would make an interesting intrigue element for there to be a family line that only produced daughters as a result of such a pairing in the distant past. Such a family might have no idea why they only produced daughters, or perhaps erroneously believe their bloodline was cursed at some point.

There's a male tiefling of succubus descent in one of the APs, so I'd assume that it's possible. ^_^

In a certain "unremembered realm" book series, an Alu-demon (aka Alu-fiend) has a son.
Considering they tend to be similar (especially with the more open-source creatures), the daughter only aspect is just for the Succubi and doesn't carry-over to their daughter.
So the way I see it and I haven't found anything to state otherwise, Succubi could have grandsons, and great-grandsons etc.

For those interested the Alu-demon's name is Aliisza.

... why does this sound like Ganondorf?

there is always the male succubi. also known as incubus/incubi? and they are only half bred demons(many generations removed). the other half is mortal. so they can take after the father (after the first generation that is). I think i read somewhere that if a succubus conceives a child in true true love can create a male child..... as a born progenitor vampire. but that's in D&D some where. maybe I saw it in one of those magazine.

do incubus/incubi exist in pathfinder?

Silver Crusade

Incubus exist in Pathfinder but they're a completely different type of demon, not just the male counterpoint to Succubi.

Also, there are Succubi who prefer male forms as established in WotR and... Summoner's Handbook I want to say?

Thanks for all the replies! I am glad to know there are precedents. A Succubus-Spawn Tieflieng would fit a lot in a new story I am in, but I wanted to go with something different. A Succubus-Spawn female is so mainstream...

That is a GREAT idea! So great I am about to change my mind about creating a male character!

Hetamon Haace in Hell's Rebels. Unless there's another one I don't know about...

Thanks!

You're welcome!

Technically, his mom is a half-succubus.
