Hi,

A question came up with my players, one of which is playing an Investigator.

The question was due to Investigator being based on Rogue and Alchemist and the unchained rogue getting free skill unlocks every 5 levels would it be fair to give the Investigator the Craft Alchemy Skill Unlock and just that at the same levels Rogue's get 'Rogue's Edge'.

Since unchained rogue was made to better keep up with classes like investigator, buffing investigator seems unnecessary.

At best, I'd maybe let you take signature skill as an investigator talent. But this is houserule territory. The official answer would be "no".

The investigator class is by no means weak, it isn't in any immediate need of buffs.

As far as I know, Unchained only deals with the four actual classes in it. Bloodragers and skalds don't need to modify their rages, brawlers are fine with their abilities, et cetera.
