RAW way to trap a characters soul in a suit of armor?

Rules Questions

As the title says. Think full metal alchemist. A characters body replaced by a suit of armor. I realize I could just take a character and say they no longer need to breathe, eat, sleep, etc and that they have a permanent suit of armor and call it good... But is there a raw way to do it?

There's the Graveknight. Or you might just turn them into a variant iron golem. Either of those might work depending on flavor.

Souljar the character into construct armor. It has its own stats and such so it should work for playability, does souljar work on constructs?

You could also make them into variant Phantom Armor (Bestiary 4), or use some permanent variant of Greater Object Possession (spell from Occult Adventures).

Possess Object + Permanency? So a "ritual" involving a couple of UMD checks performed by the "victim"?

Construct armor? Can't find anything on that. Are you saying just souljar the character into a construct and call it that?

Google "construct armor pathfinder," first pfsrd result, control-F for "construct armor." Original source allegedly Ultimate Magic.
