Visualisation of the body and similar spells have an exceedingly long cast time. What can I do to reduce it?
It's personal so I can't potion it. Wand/staff doesn't alter casting time.
Quicken will reduce it to 30 minutes, but that +4 levels is a little steep for the effect I think, and 30 minutes is still a little long.
I could magic item it - it's going to be expensive - especially for a dex boost (+5 to 7 skills, that you can 'burn out' until the next day for a short burst of power = 15-20k?).
Are there any other methods that escape me at the moment?

It's as simple as I'm over-fond of bonuses to skill checks, and a fair bonus to multiple skill checks at a relatively low level would sell this on it's own - the utility to burn it for a boost is just icing.
Getting the dex, con, int and wis ones up and running would be sweet - but I guess the casting time is the balancing factor for all that sweetness...
Can't blame a guy for trying though :)

Did you read the introductory section on Meditative Spells?
You can only have one in effect at a time and they MUST be cast during the time you prepare spells. (In other words if all your casting is spontaneous they aren't available at all.). You can use a wand but you expend the charge during your time of meditation. You can't use a wand of a meditative spell unless you have levels in a class that prepares spells.
