Companion with a dayjob in PFS?

How are the rules covering this?
Lets say I have a drake and place a skill point in Craft, would the drake then be allowed to roll for dayjob?

In the case both the player and the companion got the dayjob would they give each other a bonus to the roll?

No. rules provisions are for ONE dayjob roll... period

And was thinking that perhaps if trained in the same dayjob it could grant something like +2 if lucky

I would say no. The idea of a drake actually being able to execute a craft skill is specious at best. I wouldn't allow it as a Judge.

possibly though drakes got craft as a class skill and also use magic device

However profession and perform are not on their list of class skills, thought they could through additional traits

Here's the closest ruling I could find.

I'm under the impression that the hard rule is that only the character may roll a dayjob, and only permanent effects (that are active 24 hours a day) affect the roll.

I'm a fan of the idea that Eidolons coild make a day job check, but that's just my personal logic. For PFS, I make sure to avoid the issue entirely by having the Summoner invest in the skill or have neither of the two invest.

Of course, I understand the RAW of it, but I find it silly that an intelligent companion that's around, without resource expenditure, for YOUR ENTIRE WAKING DAY cannot at least make an aid another.
