Dipping Barbarian, Rage Powers & Prestige Classes

Advice

I'll be dipping barbarian on my greataxe fighter (grabbing 2-4 levels) and thus i'll be picking up some rage powers. I was wondering what would be good selections for one or two rage powers bearing in mind my barbarian level wont be going very high. (Ive tried looking at guides but it seems the powers they recommend are recommended because they scale well with barbarian levels, which I obviously wont possess enough of for that to make a significant difference.)

Can anyone think of one or two rage powers that would be good to pick up from a dip?

Bonus Question: Anyone know of any prestige classes that require rage to enter? (Preferably with full BAB and some interesting abilities)

Hard to tell without an exact build but: Animal Fury for a bite attack, Intimidating Glare to move action Intimidate, Smasher to ignore hardness, any of the combat maneuver+special effect ones (Knockback, Knockdown, Impelling Disarm, etc.), or No Escape to follow withdrawing opponents? I suppose Lesser Beast Totem if you want some claws for some reason.

Interesting yes. Good... not so much.

Yeah, I came across that and had the same reaction...

In regard to powers, I dont want natural attacks or intimidate for this character as my last character revolved around them, but i'm interested in things like no escape, or anything that works with disarm or trip.

It ate the post so I'll give you the short version.

Trip is Knockdown (1/rage substitute trip for melee attack, deal damage equal to Str mod). Bull Rush is Knockback (same as Knockdown, which is a bonus since it's normally only a standard action). Overrun is Overbearing Assault (add damage equal to Str mod to all successful overrun). By far the standout is Impelling Disarm (1/rage disarm in place of a melee attack, use disarmed weapon to make a throwing weapon attack). If you stick out to Barb 6 you can take Savage Dirty Trick (1/round and once per opponent per rage make a dirty trick in place of an attack that does Str mod damage and they have to save or be staggered/dazed/staggered/anchored/nauseated).

Also, since you're just dipping anyway, consider Lesser Celestial Totem.

Quote:
Whenever she is subject to a spell that cures hit point damage, she heals 1 additional point of damage per caster level. In the case of non-spell healing effects (such as channeled energy or lay on hands), she heals a number of additional points equal to the class level of the character performing the magical healing. This does not affect fast healing or regeneration.

You'll notice it keys off of their caster level, your levels are irrelevant.

I had the ranger (cohort) in my Carrion Crown campaign select lesser celestial totem. I assure you, it is every bit as good as it looks. ^_^

(Does it also do the aura of light thing, or is that celestial totem?)

Furious Guardian does not require rage to enter but it is a great way to get rage at level 6. The first level gets you rage and a rage power. It provides good saves and lot of other customisable abilities.

That looks interesting. Do you know what its real name is?

Ulfen Guard. I should have mentioned you have to be ulfen for it. It's been a while since I used it.

Rage power: Good for what ails you is a great way to suppress all kinds of nasty afflictions while raging.

This feat Raging Vitality works great for characters with rage. Iit increases the con bonus and let's your character continue to rage while unconscious, which can save the characters life since when rage ends your character looses hp from the decrease in con.

I would add scent, lesser undead blood and lesser elemental blood to the list.
