Barbarian primal hunter archetype clarification

Rules Questions

This barbarian archetype alters rage, as stated here.

But i still gain the good old +4 morale to STR and COS or no? And i still lose 2 to AC ? I'm a bit confused...

You receive the bonus to STR and CON, but you lose the Will Save bonus

So a multiclass fighter barbarian can make an archer with some really raw damage...

Thank you for that clarification, really appreciated

Would make 1st level Rage grant +4 str, +4 Con, +2 attack with ranged weapons, and -2 ac.

The Exceptional pull aspect would make your composite weapons (longbow and shortbow) adjust to account for your increase in strength due to rage.

Putting them together: with a base 14 strength, your composite longbow (+2 strength rating) would deal 1d8+2 without rage, and deal 1d8+4 with rage (and a +2 modifier to hit).

Otherwise, a normal barbarian with a composite weapon is left with a choice between one that doesn't add increased strength during a rage, or one that is -2 to attack because it has a higher strength rating that your barbarian does when they aren't raging.
