Sunder, Special Materials, and Weapon Size

More or less, just a double check of rules I think I understand.

First, we have the weapon hardness and HP detailed on page 175 of the CRB. For example, a two-handed blade has 10 hardness and 10 HP. A one handed blade would have 10 hardness and 5 HP. Either would then gain +2 hardness and +10 HP for each +1 of magical enhancement.

Second, That HP value is for weapons sized for medium creatures. A Large weapon has double HP and a small weapon has half HP. Although not perfectly worded, I think the HP for this is halved or doubled BEFORE applying the magic enhancement bonus HP.

Third, for special materials, this modifies the base HP. For example, Cold Iron has 10 hardness and 30 HP per inch. Since Steel has 10 hardness and 10 HP per inch, we apply the same ratio to the One handed blade. So a Cold Iron One handed blade has 10 Hardness and 15 HP. A Cold Iron two handed blade has 10 hardness and 30 HP. Furthermore, a Small Cold Iron One Handed Blade would have 10 Hardness and 7 HP, and with +1 magical enhancement, would be 12 Hardness and 17 HP.

Conclusion: Small weapon users are screwed vs sunder....

This look right? Mostly review. It only recently occured to me that one of the other advantages of Oversized weapons is that they gain HP. In particular, taking a level dip in Titan Fighter so a character can wield oversized two-handed weapons, would go a long way to making your PC's weapons less likely to be sundered.

Mostly right, but details wrong.

Cold Iron has 30hp/in and 10 hardness
Iron or Steel has 30hp/in and 10 hardness

Since Cold Iron and regular Iron or Steel all have the same hardness and hp rating, there is no change to the numbers in the table.

The table lists a medium weapon: One-handed blade has 5 hp and 10 hardness
Making it small: One-handed blade has 5/2 (=2) hp and 10 hardness

Enchanting it to +1 makes it 12 hp and 12 hardness.

Other options:

Get an 11th level wizard (minimum) to cast Hardening to add 5 to the hardness for 660 gp.
For 720 gp, a 12th level wizards adds 6 to the hardness.
For each 120 gp more, add to caster levels and one to the added hardness.

For 1000 gp, buy a Fortifying Stone for 5 more hardness and 20 more hp. However, the hp cannot be repaired. [I.e., once damaged, cannot get back and when the last one goes, the item is used up and no more bonus hardness.]

Huh. Looks like I failed there. Yeah, totally missed this bit. Glad I asked. Dunno why, keep recalling iron/steel as 10hp/inch.

Cevah is correct!

But If anything cold iron should have less or more as it's more brittle in real life.

Dotting for reference.
