So... I'm running am 8th level paladin (Oath of Vengeance, if that matters) playing a rather undead heavy campaign, and so far it's been great. Except that I find myself ending each day with most of my spell slots unused, and I can't help but feel that I must be doing something wrong.
Thus the question would be, what are some good, useful spells I can have that would be worth memorizing? So far, I've used Honeyed Tongue and Hero's Defiance to good effect, but I don't think Grace has come up *once* this campaign, and Litany of Righteousness, with the recent addition of a save, has gone from amazing to 'well, I'm not landing that with my 14 Charisma'.
What am I missing?

Well, just Divine Favor can be strong on a Paladin if they take the usual traits to make it a major buff (Fate's Favored, Magical Knack). With those traits, a level 8 Paladin gets +3 to attack and damage with it; without though, they get +1, so... meh.
Effortless Armor can be really nice to have in situations where clunking around in plate is proving to be a problem.
Ironskin is a pretty awesome spell (though banned in PFS).
Angelic Aspect can be nice.
Eagle's Splendor never hurts.
None of these are necessarily worth casting when actually in battle, but 8 minutes duration means you can potentially cast ahead of time; and a lesser metamagic rod of Extend is a cheap way to make them last 16 minutes.

Hero's Defiance (APG) is a good one. Chances are you won't need it, but if you do, it's a lifesaver.
Paladin's Sacrifice (also APG) can keep your comrades alive.
EDIT: Despite its name, the spell Hero's Defiance has nothing to do with the Hero Points rule.

Ooooh, nice ideas all around.
I think that for the moment, my spell list will look like....
1st -- Word of Resolve, Hero's Defiance, and Veil of Positive Energy
2nd -- Paladin's Sacrifice and Inheritor's Smite
Keeping an eye on these other spells as well for when I get more spell slots. Thank you all!
