Recently I was looking at the Grammaton archetype for cryptic, when I saw that their disrupt pattern gets a strange change:
"Disrupt Pattern
The grammaton is only able to use the disrupt pattern ability when making ranged attacks with a handgun."
1a) Does this mean that I am adding my Disrupt Pattern and Enhanced Disruption damage to my gun attacks?
1b) Insights that modify disrupt pattern would still go off, right?
1c) Does handgun mean just any gun or specifically one handed guns?
Unrelated to the above:
2) Would this archetype count as a gunslinger for the purposes of the 'special' line of the Gunsmithing feat (a feat they get for free)?
3) Couldn't you literally take the Psionic Repair talent (or similar abilities you could grab from multiclassing) and then just repair you gun of it's broken condition, basically right away?

Yes. Each is calculated separately. There is no combining the damage from one with the other. Disrupt Patter's critical multiplier is still x2, not the multiplier of the gun.

Yes.

Handguns are one handed guns by definition.

No -- you are not a gunslinger.

You could. The special line for the gunsmithing feat is for a non-spellcasting gunslinger class. This does essentailly what is the equivalent.

Two damage rolls.
Think of the disrupt pattern as being a rider on top of the gun attack, a bit like a sneak attack.
Unlike sneak attack, it can crit, but doesn't use the gun's critical multiplier. It stays at x2, regardless. Barring any insights.
Alright, so when I make a pistol attack I get disrupt pattern. Is that only when I use the disrupt pattern standard action, use a standard for attcking, or can I add on the first attack on a full attack?
If option 2/3, could you use one of the strike powers, such as distracting strike, and add disrupt to it?
