I have a personal rule against buying a console unless I know for sure it will have at least five games that I truly want (which the PS4 is doing just in the first quarter of this year). At the moment, I'm waiting to see what the Switch can offer that I'm not already getting elsewhere. I mean, Disgaea 5 is fun, but I already have (and beat) that. Skyrim is a great game, but not exactly new. They need good exclusives - and more of them - before I'll be truly interested in the Switch.

It's very much a wait and see. This is true of pretty much all consoles now, but particularly Nintendo ones (since no matter what they say now, you're going to need to own something else to play whatever 3rd party games catch your fancy.)
In particular "how well the thing actually works in practice in terms of portability and switching its modularity" is something I'd prefer other people figure and then tell me. Console manufactures always overpromise in the lead up to release, after all.

I'm fairly interested in the Switch, I may end up picking one up nearer to October/November time.
Depends if I move house though as I need more space for my entertainment station to accommodate another console.
Is there a list of games that are going to be available on it yet?
Eurogamer did a fairly good list of launch titles and post-launch titles that have been announced:

Wow! Great link. Tons of info and I love that it talks about the speed of the processor both in docked and undocked mode. Really gives some good insight into the system. My son (12) has been drooling over me playing Skyrim on the Xbone and his sister (14) playing the same on the 360, so seeing Skyrim coming to this is a definite bonus to him. He will be looking forward to having a system that will play Splatoon and Skyrim, along with all the Nintendo regulars.
Thanks
