I saw a similar build a couple days ago, and I was curious as to how I should go about the feats. I'm going into a 6-player party, and I'm hoping that I'll get to use this character.
Ratfolk Investigator (Empiricist) 1
Str: 8
Dex: 18
Con: 14
Int: 18
Wis: 12
Cha: 8
Feats:
1: Weapon finesse
3: Sharpclaw
5: Sharp Tooth
7:
Investigator talents:
3: Mutagen
5: quick study
7:
I did a little editing, and from what I gathered, the build utilizes natural attacks and a tail blade in a defensive capacity. I've got access to the Monster Codex, so I'd also add the feats Gnawer, and Pack Rat for the thematics of an intelligent and stubborn rat. What do you guys think?

As with most investigators it's slow to start. Levels 1-3 you're not going to do much in a fight, 4 is only a bit better.
At level 5 when you've got the natural attacks online, your attacks are at +8 for 1d3-1/1d4-1/1d4-1 (& another 1d3-1 if the tailblade is used to attack). Mutagen can add 2 to attack or damage (probably attack as you likely don't want an int penalty), studied combat adds 2 to both. The total then would be +12 attack, 1d3+1/1d4+1/1d4+1/1d3+1 damage. Not amazing damage but OK if you have other stuff to do in combat, say if DR shows up. Make sure you have some such extracts prepared.
I don't know how the tailblade would be used defensively.
But yes, it looks thematic and fun to play.
