personally, I don't think it's worth it. Spending a standard action to get a +1 buff at lv 7+ doesn't seem like a really worthwhile action.
Now a case could be made about getting decent charisma and going 2 levels of bard, you get saves, more skill points, and their versatile performance. and that might be worth it, and then you have the inspire for when you decide to use it.
But I don't see inspire feeling good when you instead could full attack or move and attack since you're kinda ranged.
Also maybe look at exemplar brawler, can't throw the shield as good, but can still fight well with a shield.

Thank you for the advice, I am still relatively new to roleplaying and want to get as much help as I can. Plus with all the other feats and stuff, help is really needed. I will look into all those, thank you again.

This build which you can see on the link captures the physical capabilities of Cap quite well, but doesn't really capture his leadership or inspirational abilities. I try to use roleplaying to make up for it. It is really hard to capture any super-hero completely as pathfinder is a team game where most super heroes come from stories where they are primary protagonists.
