Does a primal hunter barbarian's focused rage still grant the normal benefits and downfalls of rage? (+str, +con, -ac)
While raging, a primal hunter gains a +2 bonus on attack rolls with ranged weapons.
This bonus increases to +3 at 11th level and to +4 at 20th level. While raging, a primal hunter can attempt Stealth checks but doesn't gain a morale bonus on Will saves.
This ability alters rage.
From the fact it says "while raging" and "This ability alters rage", while not containing any language saying "instead of making a normal rage" (see urban barbarian for example) I'd assume it does, but I thought i'd ask here seeing as my google-fu is weak and i'd like to be at least 99% sure.
Edit: I guess the specific mention of it not modifying will saves also supports this interpretation... But maybe someone knows better?
