Symbiote Race! Play as Venom!

Initial disclaimers I feel I should put.

1. This is wholeheartedly torn directly from Marvel's Symbiotes, I just wanted to make them into a playable race for Pathfinder. So all rights go to them, etc. etc. I have no intention of ever trying to monetize this, that'd be stupid in and of itself.
2. This is a very rough first draft concept, nowhere near finished.

3. I have never playtested this, and have no clue if its even remotely balanced.

With all that said, if you're still with me, greetings!! Ever wanted to play as a Symbiote from the Marvel Universe, but don't want it to be your whole class, your whole shtick? Well I've got some (hopefully) great news for you! Presenting....

It's got some neat flavor - a good foil to the pretty much irredeemably evil travelers. I'm a little confused about what the klyntar can do when it's symbiotically attached - it seems like a PC would prefer to remain in its tendril/ooze form so it could cast spells and swing swords. Is it intended that the host is a GMPC that the symbiote's player controls in combat?

I was steering more towards it an option for the character to explore other role-play options, maybe form a symbiotic bond with another party member, but if their goals and alignments come in conflict they enter a kind of power struggle for control. Also, it can be a nice buff to your party martial character that stays relivant in later levels. So for role-play purposes mostly, yes.
