Hello there!
We are about to start a campaign with friends and one wants to use warrior (dwarf). Nuestor dm told us that the game will reach level 20 eventually, or at least it is the intention of all to finish it.
The problem is as follows, the fighter is a good class in the first levels but the more advanced the game the further back it stays in relation to the spellcasters. So we were wondering if it would be viable to convert it to level 6 in dragon disciple (taking a sorcerer level with crossbloded bloodline dracoonic-abysal).
The question is this, is it worth taking levels of dragon disciple for a character who will not use much (or nothing) arcane magic? 3/4 of progression of bab hurts but it gains d12 hp, a lot of str via dd and by the line of abysal blood, besides would gain wings the weapon of breath and form of dragon.
Any other prestige class that gives fighter a better scaling?

Absolutely not imho.
You are 100% correct that fighters are good at low levels but get comparatively weaker and weaker at higher levels. But going -
4 levels fighter
1 level sorcerer
dragon disciple at level 6
is not the best long term solution.
At level 15 you will cast as a level 8 sorcerer.
That is still not that great at level 15, and you have to invest a bunch of feats if you want to cast in armour and your BaB suffers and you have a bunch less combat feats compared to a level 15 fighter.
You wind up with a character that can melee, but not very well, and cast arcane spells, but not well.
Personally, I would play a melee specialist or an arcane caster, probably the 2nd.
If you want a character that is competent in melee with arcane spells I suggest:-
level 1 fighter
Levels 2-5 sorcerer lvl 1-4
Level 6 Dragon disciple.
with the remaining levels in dragon disciple and eldritch knight in some combination.
That way you get a character that at level 20 casts as a level 17 sorcerer and can melee and has much better armour and HPs than a straight sorcerer.
Some kind of hellknight is another way of doing it.
Finally, a Dwarf is the wrong race for dragon disciple. Something with a good cha is the go imho.

I honestly don't see the problem of a strait martial at level 20. Sure the casters light shines brightly at that point, but you still have your place.
But, if you want to play a mostly melee with some light casting to make up the gap, or if you want to play a melee heavy dragon disciple specifically go bloodrager.
You could also go full caster dragon disciple and do really well in melee at every point. If you do this strength will be your most important stat. Natural attacks ignore iterative attacks so base attack matters less.
