Evasion vs Icy Prision.

Could evasion avoid the status of entangled in the save of reflexes?

It is assumed that the evasion avoids all damage and contact with the source that activates the saved.

So ... the damage caused by icy prison when you are entangled is because despite the successful save some portion of the ice was managed to stick on the target. Evasion could avoid this?

Evasion specifies two criteria for attacks it protects from, area effect and reflex save reduces damage to half. Icy prison meets neither criteria, so evasion does nothing.

Saving Throw Reflex partial

Evasion:
If she makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save

Icy Prison isn't a Reflex/Half effect.
