Overhand Chop + iron hide stance

Rules Questions

What kind of strength bonus is that?

Asking for a potential mythic build.

Arguments could be made for 3x, 5x and 6x (assuming a two handed weapon is being used). 3x if they don't stack at all, 5x it they stack and are applied separately and 6x if they stack and are multiplied.

I would vote for 5x as it makes the most sense.

usually it's helpful to link or quote the abilities in question. as it is I'm not going to be bothered to hunt them down even though I'd be willing to weigh on the matter if I knew the abilities.

no idea what iron hide stance is link it and i wil be able to help as nothing is showing up in google search

Overhand Chop

At 3rd level, when a two-handed fighter makes a single attack (with the attack action or a charge) with a two-handed weapon, he adds double his Strength bonus on damage rolls.

Iron Hide Stance

While in this stance, the initiator gains a damage reduction of 5/-, and the initiator's Strength bonus to damage is doubled (or tripled if wielding a weapon with two hands).

The way I think it reads in the book is it doubles and in the stance proper it gives examples of how it looks. The stance also seems to just take in standard modifiers.

I read it as x4 because overhand chop CHANGES the modifier while two handing to 2x and the stance then doubles it.

But if RAW comes out to x6, more power to it.

at best you're looking at x4 str (the standard way of dealing with this.)

Agreed with chess pwn.
x2+x3=x4 in pathfinder

I'm also in the x4 party
