Scatter firearms and my allies

I intend to use a scatter firearm in PFS, but I am concerned about shooting my allies caught in the blast; both for their health as characters and for my health as a player who has to be on good terms with the players of those characters.

Other than careful positioning, what can I do to mitigate this damage and/or protect my allies?

Have a different gun when there's no shooting around allies.

Well that's a given, considering I can fire normal shots with my scatter weapon anyway.

If your asking about any kind of feats or enchantment properties..
There aren't any that I know of.
Scatter shot style isn't reallly particularly supported since its fairly rare and really only one weapon is worth its salt with it (dragon pistol. the others are too heavy/hard to reload/not worth the cost. sadly.. Well unelss you can get a double b arrel shotgun)

So there aren't really any way but to work with your team and then also be able to run around yourself.

Might be more scatter weapons and info in smaller books though. I just don't have access to em..

Load your gun with a salt shot cartridge? Nonlethal may not be as offensive to characters or players as lethal damage.
