Our GM is allowing us to get the Signature skill feat. The martial in the party has a very high Intimidate score, should be able to land it with 80% success rate. My question was, would it be worth it to acquire this feat? He's not feat starved and is looking for a single feat to plug in at this point, he's a fighter. Is the Signature skill worth it on Intimidate or is the standard Intimidate good enough? The issue I have with the more intense forms of fear (Frightened, Panicked) is that the enemy will run away and alarm everyone in the dungeon. Please let me know what your thoughts on this feat are

For an Intimidatrix it makes turns your Intimidate extremely deadly. Sure they can run away, but when they are Panicked they run randomly and if they have no option to escape people Cower.
I wouldn't worry too much about them running away as the duration is pretty low (1 Round Early on) and later on when the Frightened duration might be too high you can choose to Panic them instead.
