For the purpose of Animate Objects, what size would a 50 ft. rope be?

small so long as you aren't stretching it to long i would think if you stretch it it would be diminutive but would take up 10 squares

If the rope is as thick as it is long, it's colossal. Work backward from there.

In general, a light weapon is an object two size categories smaller than the wielder, a one-handed weapon is an object one size category smaller than the wielder, and a two-handed weapon is an object of the same size category as the wielder.

This is all the info on object size I can remember off the top of my head. A 50 ft coil of rope weigh about as much as a two-handed weapon (and hemp isn't as heavy as iron). So we're talking about a lot of rope.

I'd say a 50' coil of rope is size Small, based on what I was reading about the Rope Dragon from Bestiary 5.
