Androids and Cybertech

Advice

I'm assuming that as far as RAW is concerned, androids do actually count for applying cybertech (I haven't found anything to the contrary). This question is more about roleplaying and internal consistency (until such a time as rules for this might come out).

My question is what exactly makes the cybertech different from what's already there? For example, what would the difference be between a normal android's arm and an android's with a cybernetic arm? Is it just that the cybernetic completely eschews attempting to mimic flesh and blood and is completely robotic? Or is it just that the parts are higher quality? What reasons might there be for androids to not already have this? (again, aside from RAW/balance issues)

Would it be reasonable to houserule a DC, price, or implantation value reduction due to androids already being constructs?

Just fishing for ideas.

So the rules are the rules and androids deal with cybertech the same as any other race would.

As for internal logic behind it, justify it however you would like. Perhaps androids having soul's means that their body acts just like an organics when you replace or add something to it. Maybe the tech works on different principles and isn't completely compatible. Maybe androffans could have built androids with more powerful frames and built in weaponry but had a ethical ban on it or none of those builds survived the crash. Maybe their was a separate line of upgrade parts meant for androids but because they weren't compatible with normal organics they were lost or broken during early experimentation on Golarion.

You can overload any processor you like by putting more tasks to it, regardless of what said processor is made of.
