Wild magical armour property

Rules Questions

Greetings,

I am trying to work our how much its should cost to create a Wild set of Hide armour.

My thinking is as follows:

Hide armour (MW) 165gp
+1 enhancement bonus 1000gp (1165gp total)
+3 "Wild" bonus 9000gp (10165gp total)

Does this sound right or am I missing something?

I am leaning more towards adding the bonuses together and then squaring them (i.e. 1+3 = 4, 4*4 = 16, 16 * 1000 = 16,000, 16,000 + 165 = 16165gp total.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you add the bonuses together and square.

The second one is right, you add all +x magic bonuses together before determining the price of the magic part. Only magical enchantments with a listed gp price are added individually.

It's the equivalent of +4 armor, so 16,000gp for the magic part, or 16,165gp total cost.

Cheers guys

And in case anyone needs it:

In addition to an enhancement bonus, armor may have special abilities. Special abilities usually count as additional bonuses for determining the market value of an item, but do not improve AC.
