Most pre 19th century "business names" were just the owners' names, possibly with the business type.

Think of Scrooge and Marley.

Or Sirius Heffalump, Greengrocer.

I've always preferred names that mean something... so baby name generators are handy. Most let you search on meaning and some let you pick country of origin or style, like Romanian.
