the scrying section say "Unless noted otherwise, the sensor has the same powers of sensory acuity that you possess."
does that mean that you can set them off remotely? (explosive runes)? all you need to set it off is read them after all.

Anyone next to the explosive runes (close enough to read them) takes the full damage...
so this is an old trick, much like reading the runes via a telescope.
Some GMs will interpret the text of the spell such that the reader must be adjacent to the runes to set them off, and that's reasonable. It is a trap after all.
BTB it's not defined and would probably be left to a Perception check or what the original caster set as parameters with GM agreement.
BTB scrying sensors don't have HPs or an AC defined in many spells so it is left to the GM. They can be spotted with a simple Perception DC 20+Spell level check. IMO as a magical thing it's not subject to damage from mundane sources but would be subject to magical effects and damage (particularly area of effect spells). Some spells tie the scrying to a physical object, thus if the physical object is destroyed the so is the scrying sensor/scrying link. see Questing Stone, Mirror Sight, Spherescry.
In my home game it's 10ft as that's the blast radius. Secondly if your sensor takes damage it's dispelled.
