Energy Drain attacks and Mirror Image

If a Wight attacks someone with Mirror Images and hits a image does that use up it's energy Darin for the round or does it still have it for any further Natural Attacks (or Conductive weapon attacks) it might make in the rest of it's turns or AOO during the round?

simply touching the image destroys it, the energy drain never even comes into the equation and stays available for further attacks.
