Advice on how to play Wizard

Advice

Hello,

first of all that is the first Wizard i ever made.
http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=255087
Some Things i took directly because of the Adventure(we Play an evil one), like arcane strike, we had many imcorporal enemies at the first 1-3 Levels ... so i took it their, to grab the fighters weapon make it magical and give it back to him, that he can beat the crap out of those things.

Also in my Spellbook are some spells normaly could not haven learnd at that Level, but we did help an Lich at one Point, and he was so Kind to then give me some additional spells.

So how i played so far.
1. I was responsible for identifying all magical stuff or finding magical traps or help make enemies visible or just kill them with aoe while invisible and so on.
2. So far im the only Ranged PC in the Group, thats why i had to take care of out of melee range enemies and Groups of enemies with some Aoe spells.
3. Then i also did Buff my Team while i did try to debuff or annoy the enemies with obscuring mist or buring disarm. (since of the mentioned imcoporal things or flying things i was like ok buring disarm might be better then grease and then the Levels passed )

So what would be your advice on what to get next and how to Play.

best regards

You know you can just blast incorporeal enemies for full damage with force effects, like magic missile or at higher levels the wonderful battering blast.

Grand Lodge

If they are Undead you can Command Undead (The Spell) and turn the enemies back on the DM/GM.

ok thanks for the advice

Your going to want to grab quicken spell by lv13

Spell Perfection is amazing if you have a favorite spell

Additional Traits is always a great pickup

UMD is a good skill to invest in. There are several traits that let you use int instead of cha

Your going to get access to Planar Binding soon. Its a great spell and has some very fun RP aspects.

The PRC Diabolist drops no CL and has amazing special abilities.

3.5 book Drow of the Underdark has a ton of interesting material on Drow culture if you wanted to expand on that

thank you, just did look at the PRC Diabolist and yeah the gm seems to use that as and NPC helping us xD but Looks quite interesting.

^^ ok i really have to look out for that int to cha traits, that is the main Problem i have at some spells at the Moment.

^^ I have read 3.5 book Drow of the Underdark and was looking for a book like that for pathfinder, is their anyone(i bougth rise of the drow but it doesnt has so much fluff in it)? also did use some fluff from Drow of the Underdark, unfortunatly i took the graduate Age for Wizards from their. xD after some sessions we found out, in pathfinder i would have still counted as child at that Age as drow xD but gm was so nice and said it is ok you dont get the stat ajustment.

There'ss no DotU book in PF, but in the Avanced Race Guide, there's one short chapter on drow with a slew of feats for drow inborn powers and some other options that you might or might not find interesting.

to bad -.- i already took a feat from Advanced Race Guide ;) Drow Nobility (normal one) just looked to nice for just one feat a free featherfall Comes in Handy ;)

Duh, and I had taken a look at your char sheet too, Captain Ob(li)vious to the rescue ! :)

xD can happen, i dont expect someone to completly memorize a sheet with looking 1-2 times on it xD
