Dueling Cape Deed question

Rules Questions

As a move action, you can wrap a cape around your arm, and treat it as a buckler.

Can the cape be enchanted, to treat it as a buckler +1, for instance?

It isn't actually a buckler, so you wouldn't be able to add shield enhancement bonuses to it. You could forgo the Deed and buy a Shield Cloak instead. They specifically can be enhanced.

Sadly to use the "Precise Strike" deed, a swashbuckler cannot use a shield other than a buckler, and the Shield Cloak is treated as a light wooden shield.

Ah, sorry. I'm not particularly familiar with Swashbucklers.

Nothing to be sorry about.

Even if you could, the point of the feat is being able to entangle an enemy, which they can then destroy to escape.

Using a magic item like that would get real expensive.
