Ever since I started playing RPGs my favorite fantasy RPG character was Frog, from Chrono Trigger. Having recently acquired a Grippli boon, I'd like to recreate him for PFS play, this means he needs to be fully recognizable at low levels, and at higher levels (12+) I don't need to pay any attention as he'll likely be shelved.
Core concepts and abilities required:
Fighting with a large sword, it's appropriately sized for him but frog wields the legendary Masamune, a sentient sword with 2 intelligences trapped inside. It's particularly effective against mages.
Casting water Magic. Frog has access to spells that use water against the enemy.
Casting Healing magic: Frog cures his allies regularly.
Light/medium armor: Frog is a knight, but doesn't wear heavy armor. Usually he had a cape.
Hero's Medal: in game he earns a medal for his heoics, but in Pathfinder I just need a way of representing this, a neck slot item or chest slot that affects his abilities somehow.
Summoning a giant Frog to squash his enemies- don't know if that one's feasable
Btw did I mention I need to do this on a grippli, and not suck.
Thanks for the help in advance.
Sincerely,
Carl.

Wave shaman, take martial weapon proficiency for your greatsword.
Str 14
Dex 12
Con 14
Int 10
Wis 15
Cha 10.Use the following stat array, pick up fluid magic hex at lv 2, then fill your spell slots with water themed spells. PFS doesn't do sentient weapons. Closest would be bladebound magus.
I'm more concerned with the particularly effective against mages part, and the dual nature of the sword.
I could do something like Acid/shock on it to give it the opposed element types.

You could go with the new psychokineticist from Horror Adventures, if you want something new. Although it is weaker than a normal kineticist, the stats of dex/wis fit grippli.
Go with water as emphasis and get kinetic healer ability.
You can use kinetic whip and say it is in the form of a large sword with reach. The text of kinetic whip says "You form a long tendril of energy or elemental matter. This functions as kinetic blade but counts as a reach weapon appropriate for your size," so you seem free to say it takes the form of whatever type of weapon you feel like, and not necessarily a whip. If you look at kinetic blade (which kinetic whip says it functions as) it says, "The kinetic blade's shape is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the damage dice, critical threat range, or critical multiplier of the kinetic blade, nor does it grant the kinetic blade any weapon special features." This means the game system is explicitly giving you permission to reskin it (even though it is generally not allowed to reskin in PFS) however you like.
You can summon water elementals.

You see, the stuff you want, individually can be mimicked using pathfinder rules. But put them together, and its one huge mess. Or crazy multiclassing, which will severely weaken your character.
Fighting with large sentient sword:
Bladebound magus, haunted oracle (maybe, complain that your sword is talking to you)
Casting water magic:
Arcane casters capable of 9th lv spells, wave oracle, wave shaman, druid
Casting healing magic:
Divine casters, preferably those that can cast 9th lv spells. Witches
Light/medium armor:
Any arcane caster that is not capable of casting 9th lv spells
Summon frog(its bloody ineffective):
Any class with summon monster/summon natures ally on spell list
Sword effective against mages:
Barbarian with witch hunter and superstitious rage power, spell killer inquisition, Magus using disruptive, spellbreaker and lingering pain magus arcana.
So you'll need to see which boxes you want to tick, there's no single character class that can do all that.
I think you can try a druid on spellkiller inquisition, using stat array above. Flavour Masamune as a scimitar. I'd suggest weapon finesse and dervish dance, but I think you want to two-hand the sword.
