Good Caster Level-dependent spells?

Advice

My friend is running Wrath of the Righteous (albeit heavily modified). For whatever reason, I decided to make a character focused around a high caster level.
If anyone has a suggestion for a good spell to pick up, I'd appreciate it. I know many of the classics, but with a really high CL and lower save DC's, I'd love some suggestions.
At this point, I'm an Arial Wildblooded Sorcerer 1, Spell Sage Wizard 1, and Psychic 4. So, the psychic spell list will be my primary one to choose spells from, but I'll have plenty of access to staves, etc, so no spell is really out of the question.
Thanks in advance!

High CL Low DC spells buffer to me.

You can also do well as an area control caster.
If you make a pit appear, the DC doesn't matter. the enemy still has to deal with the battlefield control spell.
Many wall spells can also act this way.
Cloud spells can offer cover and block line of sight.
Summons are great for providing more attacks and soaking up hits.

Direct damage and control will suffer due to low DCs.

Some illusions can work well, but is very GM dependent.

Your buffs will be of much longer duration. Summons and buffing will be stronger. Telekinesis could be really good with a high CL.

I think there are some scaling damage spells on the psychic list, but it is not a caster that actually specializes in this. But that's almost irrelevant. Higher caster level will help decimate SR and provide duration, that will just make the character more effective.

Unfortunately, many of the best combat spell options on the psychic list are save focused; but all you need is a rod of persistent metamagic and you'll be in good shape.

Battering Blast can deal quite a lot of damage depending on caster level. With the intensified metamagic feat (from a rod maybe:

Cl 5 - 1 orb, 2d6 damage
Cl 10 - 2 orbs - 5d6 damage each
Cl 15 - 3 orbs, 7d6 damage each
Cl 20 - 4 orbs, 7d6 damage each

So nice, non-linear increase in damage with a higher caster level.

I am somewhat confused by how you are getting a higher caster level while mutliclassing multiple full casting classes. Seems like a really bad idea. Whats the trick?

Magical Knack gives me +2 to my psychic level, and expanded arcana will help me fill out spells known. The archetypes I took (wildblooded stormborn and spell sage) give some conditional though potent boosts (+2 during weather, and +4 1 spell/day).

While I'll still have high DC's (mythic and all), I know we'll be facing some potent enemies, so save-or-suck spells will not be as useful then.

I didn't even know Battering Blast was a thing, but I'll probably get a staff of it, at least.

Thanks for all the feedback, I really appreciate it!

Ill Omen is a level 1 no-save that just keeps getting nastier with higher CL. Quickened Ill Omen with a high CL is pretty god-like; a quick wave of the hand to badly cripple multiple d20 rolls.

Battering Blast is not on the Psychic list. But the Mind Thrust line of spells might be the place for your scaling damage spell to take even greater advantage of the awesome benefit of high caster level.

Thanks! I already have Ill Omen, actually. Mind Thrust I and II, as well, since I could do decent damage early on. I'll probably keep taking them, but they look like they fall off a bit. The added status effects are nice, but the kinda odd scaling makes them look a bit weird (to me, at least). I'm not sure if the change from d6s to d8s is worth another spell level. Admittedly, I don't usually play full casters, so this is purely subjective.
