Charisma Ranger?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Is there any archetype or anything to make a Ranger Charisma based, instead of Wisdom? Preferably first-party.

I don't have UI on me, but I believe that the Dandy from Ultimate Intrigue gives the Ranger a bunch of interesting social goodies. They might lose out on spellcasting, though. Like I said, I don't have the book on me right now, and no way to access the PFSRD.

Dandy Ranger is Cha-based, using the Bard list as a spontaneous caster.

If you care more about the Ranger's spell list, Fey Trickster Mesmerist gets the Hunter list on Charisma.

You're correct, it changes spells from Ranger spells to Bard spells, and makes them Charisma-based.

Unfortunately, it kind of restricts most of the Ranger abilities to urban and/or intrigue settings, which makes perfect sense, it just makes it harder to do in any old campaign.

The Dandy in Ultimate Intrigue has spellcasting based on charisma instead of wisdom, uses the Bard list instead of the Ranger list, and has the spells known and spells per day of the Medium class.

There's one Cha option for each level of the Druid-like lists. (I'm presuming the 1/2 BAB Cha-based Druid is sufficiently far away from what you want to not bother linking.) If you don't like them, your next-best option is probably a non-caster so you can have a high Cha score without hurting too much.
