Question about Pathfinder Online Kickstarter Backer Boon

Hi,

I backed PFO way back when and never used my kickstarter backer boon.

I have a question. It says, "Items found during this scenario..." and "Emerald Elixir: Stolen from a bizarre pool in the Emerald Spire superdungeon..."

The character I apply this to doesn't have to have gone through Emerald Spire, correct? I can just get some DM to sign the sheet and watch as I roll d20 for the boon?

Yeah, I still have mine as well. Never found anyone with it though, even at GenCon (when I remember to ask).

I managed to activate mine at PaizoCon, else I would offer to run a table for everyone.

If there are a couple people looking to gather together to activate their boons, then online play is definitely an option. I'll point out that Aethercon will be happening relatively soon, and if nothing else the PFS Discord can be helpful in getting a game together. There's a channel there dedicated to looking for games for VTT and PbP.

We did a bunch on online play - it was a case of gathering up some like minded people and coming up with a session...

Seems to be a lot of them still floating out there.

Probably easier if your GM just includes a quick note on the Chronicle for the scenario you're playing.

Mine is unused. Have a local who has not used his either. Although we are normally GMing, not playing. Maybe Paizocon next year if I make it and someone else is there with one.

Thats what we did - we hopped into the same session on PbP, and had a Kickstarter Backer party - everyone picked the boon they wanted and it was all sorted.

It was a really annoying addition to the boon.
