This may be a stupid question, but I just need some clarification. I've made a Scrollmaster/Scroll Scholar(eventually Cyphermage), and I'm not entirely sure what level to scribe my scrolls at. Is there any point to making a CL 5 Scroll of Burning Hands to use as a Scroll Blade? Is it still just going to act as a masterwork short sword with 1 hit point and 0 hardness? Should I just stick with CL 1 scrolls for first level spells that are going to be used as Blades?
Secondly: Is there any point to trying to make the scrolls out of a material with a higher hardness, like Darkleaf Cloth or something like it? The RAW says that "Each successful hit by the scroll blade reduces its hit points by 1; this damage cannot be repaired, but does not affect casting from the scroll. When its hit points reach 0, the scroll is destroyed." That first bit doesn't actually say that the scroll takes 1 point of damage, it just says the hit reduces its hit points by 1, so does hardness even apply in this case? But the second part says that it IS damage...
Any help would be great!

Note that it's spell level that gives Scrollblades power, not caster level.
I am of the opinion that a Scrollblade is subject to hardness and that each +1 on the weapon adds 2 hardness and 10 hp to the blade. Before anyone grabs pitchforks and lights torches: scrollmaster sucks and scrollblades should have been invincible from the git-go.
There is no RAW answer to your question. It'll ultimately be up to your GM.
Regardless of the outcome of this thread you can always buy a fortifying stone to add an additional 20 hp to any scroll blade that can be repaired.

Okay, so I asked this one recently, but the answer is that Paizo hasn't touched this one, despite obvious needs of errata.
If you look closely at the wording, Hardness doesn't apply to the damage dealt to the scroll by the ability. It would still apply to the damage dealt by sunder or damage dealt to objects.
Regarding the HP increase due to magical enhancement, I'd ask the GM regarding RAI, but I think it does apply and the scrolls are getting +10 hp per +1 enhancement. This extra HP would vanish when you stop using it as a weapon/shield, and it isn't temporary HP, so it wouldn't stop the scroll from being destroyed, just would keep it present in combat longer.
Caster Level, on the other hand, will not affect anything regarding this ability or the scrolls. It will still affect the spell when cast and the cost of the scroll.
As far as I understand, Scrolls can be made of just about any material, but it doesn't affect their hardness or HP. You could ask the GM on this one, if you wanted.

Anyway, regarding the class archetype, main point is that it allows your wizard to remain armed while sporting scrolls. As weapons go, yeah, it's a neat option to get discounted strong weapons at low level, but they are so much more useful as scrolls. For PFS, it is notable that you can get a 4th level scroll with 2PP. That is to say, you can get a +2 short sword at 1st level via this class.
That said, it's still a wizard...so 0 BAB and scrolls aren't weapons, so no quick draw scroll blades, and they still aren't water or fire proof....And even there, scrolls should be kept in waterpoof containers, not quickdraw holsters. So with +2 shortsword and weapon finesse at 1st leve, the wizard isn't able to have a higher hit roll than a fighter with a normal masterwork weapon.
