Double checking, if I have Channel Energy from two sources, like the Cleric and the Life Oracle, the two are treated as entirely seperate abilities for two seperate classes, correct?
So, for example, a 1st level Life Oracle and 1st level Cleric of some evil Deity would be able to channel both negative and positive energy, as per their respective class's use of channel energy?

Good question. I'll go ahead and flag your post for the Rules Questions Forum so it can best get the attention it deserves.
As far as I understand it, you would have two separate "pools" to choose from. Your Life Oracle "pool" could only be positive energy, and if you worship an evil-aligned deity then your Cleric "pool" could only be negative energy.
But some feats and abilities, like Improved Channel, and Channel Smite, could affect both pools. With some other abilities, it gets murkier.

feats may apply to all
extra is 2 extra between all pools. Not two per pool.
