Throw Anything and weapon proficiency

Rules Questions

If a character or creature has the Throw Anything feat does this negate the non-proficiency bonus of a weapon(by design) or just an improvised weapon(a chair, etc.)?

For example: A Brownie wielding a Chakram.
A chakram is a martial weapon.
A brownie does not have martial proficiency.
Does Throw Anything negate the -4 the brownie would have?

Throw Anything, and its melee equivalent Catch Off-guard, are not replacements for actual weapon training and the appropriate proficiency feats.

If you are using something as an improvised weapon, then you are using it in some way that it was not designed for. A chakram thrown with Throw Anything, for example, would be awkwardly thrown, likely only amounting to a weak bludgeoning weapon as if you threw a rock of the same rough size.

Ah, gothcha. Thanks.

Better put, it isn't a chakram attack anymore.

So when my alchemist throws his Rapier, it is at a -4?
