Seeking weapon special ability

I got one of my ranged weapons enchanted with the seeking special ability, the way its worded I interpreted it to mean that the arrow would seek out the target eliminating things like ac bonuses to partial cover. Am I wrong and if so can I sell back the enchantment for half price to get a new one?

Page 471 CRB:

Seeking: Only ranged weapons can have the seeking ability.
The weapon veers toward its target, negating any miss chances that would otherwise apply, such as from concealment. The wielder still has to aim the weapon at the right square. Arrows mistakenly shot into an empty space, for example, do not veer and hit invisible enemies, even if they are nearby.

Seeking does not eliminate cover bonuses, only miss chances. Cover is a straight AC bonus to the defender and not a miss chance.

Pink Dragon is correct.
As for selling back the enchantment:
If you haven't played since getting the weapon enchanted, just line it out (or erase it if you used pencil) and correct your coin total.
If you have played since purchasing it; you would need to sell the entire weapon back, and purchase a new one including enchanting it at the usual costs.

Thanks for clarifying that.

I've always wondered if this actually works when applied to a bow. On the tables, this ability doesn't have the footnote indicating that a projectile transfers the effect to its ammunition. It does say that "[t]he weapon veers toward its target" so I guess the bow would veer toward the target if you threw it at someone.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! That clears up several other things that have bothering me, too!

The enchantment you may be looking for is "Veering".

That's more along of the lines of what I'm looking for, thanks a lot! :)
