Underfoot Adept Maneuver Master Monk

Rules Questions

Can I stack these two archetypes?
Underfoot only replaces the lv1 feat and keeps the rest of the ability and maneuver master is only adding to the options available for your bonus feats.

Am I okay because my altered bonus feats still count as the bonus feat ability and I'm only removing one increment of the ability?

Maneuver Master does not say it alters bonus feats, so you're in the clear as far as archetype stacking goes.

MM modifies the class feature Bonus Feats.
UA modifies the 1st level feat.

Therefore they don't stack.

The text of altering bonus feats is absent from the archetype. It's not on Paizo's SRD, at least.

While I can see the argument for it being an unstated alteration, PFS leans towards exact wordings, while home games tend to allow enough leniency that allowing the two to combine anyways is fine.

the text "this alters" isn't required for it to alter an ability.
This is for PFS, so it has to be the actual rules and not a GM fine allowing them to stack.

The text of alter/modify isn't required, heck it isn't even in most of the early ones.

I'm on a phone, but there is a FAQ that explains this.

Those don't stack because Maneuver Master adds feats to the Bonus Feat class feature. Case closed.
