Greetings all, I have a melee-oriented Spiritualist with a lvl 1 dip into Bloodrager, mostly to give him a edge in combat.
He just hit level three, and i'm debating what feat to give him.
I saw the Mad Magic feat.
I thought it was be fitting for my Spiritualist to be casting spells whilst raging.
My only concern is- Is Raging considered an Emotional, as per the "Psychic Mage" casting restrictions? Meaning that while Raging, my spiritualist would have to roll Concentration to cast spells?
Thanks.

You could not cast spells with emotion components at all, even with Mad Magic.
A psychic spellcaster marshals her desire in order to focus and release the spell's energy. It is impossible to cast a spell with an emotion component while the spellcaster is under the influence of a non-harmless effect with the emotion or fear descriptors. Even if the effect's emotion matches the necessary emotion to cast the psychic spell, the spellcaster is not in control of her own desires and animal impulses, which is a necessary part of providing an emotion component.
Bloodrage is non-harmless, and has emotion effects. While this is not explicitly spelled out in the rage itself, the Id Rager archetype goes out of its way to clarify that Atavistic Caster lets you cast spells with emotion components, heavily implying you normally cannot.
