Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

does it get the spells for spell casters as well for secondary classes?

no to get spells it need to be your primary class.

No, you only get the things that are specifically stated. So a Fighter with VMC Wizard doesn't get spells, and a a Wizard with VMC Fighter doesn't qualify for Fighter-only feats. Having the word 'multiclassing' in the title is terribly confusing because you really only have levels in one class. VMC just grants you a limited selection of abilities from another class.

Some VMC options grant you a cantrip or orison -- but that is all you get in terms of spellcasting ability from a secondary class.

It's basically crap the most often, roughly on par with not using VMC in a few cases, and extremely rarely a slight improvement.

I'd ballpark 70-28-2 out of 100

If you download the Rogue Genius Games VMC rules they have expanded options that grant some spellcasting. You give up more, but it may be worth it.

alright thanks guys!
